Enniscorthy and County Wexford

A holiday in Wexford can match anything that more exotic locations have to offer. Boasting over 115kms of golden coastline popular with families wishing to escape the noise and pressure of city living. Its historic past ensures that there is much to see, do and explore. Enniscorthy is an old Norman settlement situated on the banks of the River Slaney. On the west bank of the river, the Gothic church of Saint Aidans reminds us that Enniscorthy is the Cathedral town of the county. Dominating the town is the Norman Castle which was completed in 1205 and now houses the County Wexford Folk Museum.
