Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo
The first Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo took place in 2008 and welcomed more than 18,000 people into the private grounds of Windsor Castle. It offered a celebration through music, words and action of the Army’s contribution and commitment to the Nation’s Defence, International Security and Stability. Narrated from start to finish, with re-enactments and displays, visitors saw stories unfold of Army life and its unselfish contribution to society. The Tattoo runs alongside The Royal Windsor Horse Show and visitors to it can gain access to the show from 3pm each day, taking the chance to catch some top class show jumping, dressage and equestrian displays before the evening Tattoo starts.
