Monday 14th: We travel across Anglesey to Holyhead for our crossing to Dublin and on to the Woodford Dolmen Hotel. Welcome tea/coffee will be served on arrival.

Tuesday 15th: Today we visit Kilkenny where the past echoes in every step as you walk through this medieval city. Explore Kilkenny Castle and experience the glory of the 13th Century Canice’s Cathedral (admission not included).

Wednesday 16th: Today we travel through Wicklow Mountains National Park, one of Ireland’s most untouched regions, before heading to the spectacular Glendalough. Here we visit the monastic ruins before calling into the picturesque town of Avoca, the filming location of Ballykissangel and home to Irelands oldest weaving mill.

Thursday 17th: Happy St Patrick’s Day! To enjoy the day to the fullest we travel to Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city to soak up the party atmosphere and watch the exciting parade. Whilst in Waterford you may like to visit the famous Waterford Crystal showroom and factory. Make sure you leave some time to explore the Viking Triangle area where you will discover a thousand years of history within a thousand paces’! This evening we will enjoy some Irish music in the hotel.

Friday 18th: We depart after breakfast and head to Dublin where there is time for lunch before the return sailing to Holyhead and home.
