Sunday 17th: We leave home this morning travelling through Wales to Fishguard for our lunchtime crossing to Rosslare. On arrival we continue to the Viking Hotel, Waterford for our evening meal and overnight stay.
Monday 18th: After breakfast we leave our hotel and travel to County Cork, with a visit to Cobh, the final port of call for the Titanic before she met her fate in 1912. On then to the Kenmare Bay Hotel.
Tuesday 19th: This morning we enjoy a scenic journey via Mizen Head to Bantry for some time at leisure but not before a visit to Bantry House and its impressive treasures. On then to the harbour town of Glengariff for a boat trip to Garnish Island where we will see the effects of its unique microclimate and possibly its colony of seals.
Wednesday 20th: Today we enjoy a full day, touring the famous Ring of Kerry. Travelling through the stunning Killarney National Park, take in the spectacular scenery, as we drive the coastal road of the Iveragh Peninsular. We travel through pretty villages, call in to small towns and witness many a historical sight.
Thursday 21st: Departing our hotel this morning we head for Limerick, a treasure trove of sights to see and things to do. From medieval marvels to contemporary street art, we will have time to explore before heading to the Aspect Hotel near Dublin for our final night.
Friday 22nd: We have some free time in Dublin this morning before catching the afternoon ferry to Holyhead where we continue on our way home.
