Thursday 02nd: We leave home this morning and take a leisurely drive to the southern county of Hampshire, arriving later this afternoon.
Friday 03rd: Denbies Vineyard is today’s first stop for a vineyard train tour with a glass of bubbly. We then move on to the Edwardian country retreat that is Polesden Lacey.
Saturday 04th: We head north this morning to Chinnor and a ride on the award-winning Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway. Our journey takes us along the foot of the Chiltern Hills and through some outstanding countryside. This afternoon we have free time in Henley on Thames.
Sunday 05th: This morning we visit the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre, dedicated to the industrial heritage of the southeast. This afternoon is spent in maritime Portsmouth.
Monday 06th: Leaving after breakfast we commence our journey northwards, arriving home later in the day.
