Harrogate & York Weekend Break
This great little break allows for a day exploring the boutique spa town of Harrogate, with its thriving streets buzzing with shops and eateries. We also have a full day exploring nearby historic York, with an array of museums, busy town centre and of course the mighty Minster.
Your Itinerary
Friday 19th: We leave home this morning and take a drive to Yorkshire, arriving at our Harrogate hotel later this afternoon.
Saturday 20th: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before exploring Harrogate at your own leisure. Perhaps enjoy a lovely stroll through the beautiful Valley Gardens or browse the delightful Victorian arcades. The spa town is home to the famous Betty’s Tea Room, Pump Room and Turkish Baths.
Sunday 21st: After breakfast we head the short distance to the historic city of York. We have the day to explore this fascinating city with lots of attractions to keep you busy, such as the National Railway Museum, Jorvik Centre, the City Walls, the little streets and alleyways in the centre, not forgetting York Minster.
Monday 22nd: After a full weekend, sit back and relax as we make our way homewards, stopping along the way for lunch, we will arrive home later this afternoon.
