Windsor Castle

Your Itinerary
Sunday 23rd: We set off this morning, arriving early afternoon at our hotel. A Cream Tea has been arranged at the hotel this afternoon, thereafter the remainder of the day and evening are at leisure to enjoy the light evenings and the town of Windsor, take a stroll along the river and pop in to one of the many local pubs or restaurants.
Monday 24th: After a leisurely breakfast we can wander across the street for our visit to Windsor Castle. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 7th Century, this magnificent castle has since been the home of 40 monarchs. Wander the State Apartments, admire the original artwork and maybe visit St Georges Chapel, the site of many Royal weddings. After exploring the castle, enjoy some refreshments in the café. We leave Windsor later this afternoon and make our way home.
