Thursday 24th: We leave home this morning and take a leisurely drive to Wiltshire and the Angel Hotel, arriving with time to settle in before this evening’s meal.
Friday 25th: This morning we travel to the city of Bath. We meet our guide who will take us on a Bridgerton tour of the city. They’ll show us around the iconic filming spots including Featherington House, Lady Danbury’s Residence and Gunters Tea Rooms, where the Bridgertons and Featheringtons gossip. Following our tour, the rest of the day is free to explore this 18th century spa city at leisure.
Saturday 26th: We enjoy a leisurely morning in Chippenham, a lovely historic market town. The mix of old and new, historic architectural gems and modern shopping centres make this an ideal place to explore. Later we have a short drive to beautiful Bradford-on-Avon for a break before moving on to the time warp village of Lacock.
Sunday 27th: This morning we make our way to historic Salisbury, with timbered buildings, a Gothic Cathedral home to the famous Magna Carta, museums and delightful town centre.
Later we journey to the magnificent Wilton House - immediately recognisable as Hastings House, Simon Basset's London home. Wilton House doubles up as a number of Bridgerton filming locations - including Clyvedon Castle and the interior of St James's Palace.
Monday 28th: Time to return to the present day! We leave after breakfast and make our way towards home, after stopping for lunch we will arrive later this afternoon.
