Thursday 24th: We leave home this morning travelling south to Hayling Island, arriving late afternoon at the Langstone Hotel.
Friday 25th: This morning we make our way to Chichester with its magnificent Cathedral, Roman Walls and a medieval heart. The centre is compact with history all around, we have time to explore and have lunch, before moving on to mighty Arundel Castle. Built in the 11th century the castle has been restored and added to over the centuries, to become the superb castle we see today.
Saturday 26th: Today we follow the coast road to Worthing, Hove and the famous resort of Brighton. Here we spend the day, you can enjoy a seafront stroll, explore the unique Lanes, a trendy area with cafes, bars and shops or pay a visit to the Royal Pavilion.
Sunday 27th: We travel west today to maritime Portsmouth, where you can visit the Historic Dockyard, home of ‘Victory’ and ‘Mary Rose’, wander around the Old Town, the lovely Cathedral and Spice Island. Visit Gunwharf Quay, with an array of excellent shops, bars and restaurants.
Monday 28th: After breakfast we leave and travel via the pretty Cotswolds, after a break for lunch, we continue homeward, arriving later this afternoon.

Langstone Hotel, Hayling Island
The hotel is situated on the northern shore of Hayling Island overlooking Langstone Water. Hotel facilities include Lifestyle Health and Leisure Club with swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym.
