Monday 19th: We leave home this morning and make the journey to south Devon and the Bedford Hotel in Sidmouth, arriving in time to settle in before this evening’s meal.
Tuesday 20th: This morning we make our way to Exmouth where we board a circular cruise on the river Exe. The sheltered waters ensure a smooth cruise no matter the weather. We then move onto Exeter, a vibrant, attractive and historically interesting city.
Wednesday 21st: Today is free to enjoy Sidmouth, take a leisurely stroll along the level promenade, browse the town centre, or visit the colourful gardens.
Thursday 22nd: Our first stop this morning is beautiful Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine monks. Surrounding the Abbey are various gardens, gift shop, tearoom, don’t miss the Monastic Way. We spend the afternoon in the Queen of the Riviera, Torquay.
Friday 23rd: Sadly, it’s time to bid farewell to our hosts and Sidmouth and make our way home. A stop will be made for lunch, thereafter we return home, arriving later in the day.

Bedford Hotel, Sidmouth
Set on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, The Bedford Hotel is located on Sidmouth’s seafront. It has individually designed rooms with flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities.
