Your Itinerary
Thursday 24th: Our outward journey takes us via York with time for sightseeing before continuing to Hull and the P&O overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Meals are not included on the sailings but can be purchased on board. Friday 25th: On arrival in Rotterdam, we make out way to Amsterdam. Holland’s most vibrant city boasts 165 canals, 1281 bridges, 42 museums and many great sights. Admire the 17th century merchant houses or the floating flower market, which is ablaze with colour in every season. Saturday 26th: This morning we head to Keukenhof Gardens. Famed for its breath-taking displays of spring flowers blending beautifully in a landscape of established trees, flowering shrubs, a huge variety of perennials, water gardens and a lake. Sunday 27th: We travel north to De Simonehoeve a local cheese and wooden shoe factory, for demonstrations of how these traditional Dutch products are made. Later we continue to the nearby old fishing village of Volendam. We return to Rotterdam to embark on the overnight sailing to Hull. Monday 28th: We disembark after breakfast and travel via Liverpool with free time before arriving home later this afternoon.
