Monday: Leaving home this morning we travel to Scotland, arriving at our hotel with time to refresh before our evening meal.
Tuesday: This morning, we take a scenic drive along Loch Linnhe to Oban. We spend the day at leisure exploring the town’s attractions, such as McCaig’s Tower, Oban Distillery and the Caithness Glass Visitor Centre.
Wednesday: Today we take a gondola ride at Nevis Range. We are transported to a height of 2150ft on the north face of Aonach Mor. We enjoy free time to visit the restaurant, and wander around the Mountain Discovery Centre. This afternoon we head to Fort Augustus for a 50-minute cruise of legendary Loch Ness.
Thursday: First we embark on a journey described as the greatest railway journey in the world! The train takes us on a journey from Fort William to Mallaig. Along the way we encounter spectacular scenery and travel across the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct’s magnificent 21 arches. On arrival in the fishing village of Mallaig we embark on a 1-hour wildlife cruise. We return to Mallaig in time to catch the return train journey to Fort William.
Friday: Reluctantly it’s time to leave, we commence our journey, travelling south with a stop for lunch before continuing on our way home, arriving later this afternoon.

The Moorings Hotel, Banavie 
Moorings Hotel lies alongside the banks of the Caledonian Canal at the famous Neptune's Staircase. All rooms have a TV, and each also has a seating area and facilities for making tea and coffee. The hotel does not have a lift.
