Monday 19th: We leave home this morning and make our way to the east coast of Scotland, arriving at the hotel later this afternoon.
Tuesday 20th: This morning is free to explore Dundee, we have entry to the iconic V&A Museum of Design. After time in the city, we make our way to Scone Palace, the crowning palace of Scottish Kings and the original home of the Stone of Scone.
Wednesday 21st: Today we visit Edinburgh with free time to explore both the old and new town, we then head to Leith for a self-guided tour of the Royal Yacht Brittania. Home at sea to the Royal Family for over 40 years.
Thursday 22nd: Glamis Castle, childhood home of the Queen Mother and birthplace of Princess Margaret is our first visit of the day. Explore the castle and beautiful gardens at leisure. Later we enjoy a guided gin tasting in the quaint and quirky Gin Bothy, one of Scotland’s best kept secrets.
Friday 23rd: After a hearty Scottish breakfast, we bid farewell to our hosts and commence the journey south. After taking a break for lunch we continue, arriving home later this afternoon.
