Motown & Soul Weekend
Our wonderful weekender celebrates the eclectic blend of rhythm and blues, soul, funk, gospel and pop that is Motown. The hit record-label caused a sensation, crossing cultural divides and launching superstars such as The Jackson 5, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and many more.
Included in the price are two drinks vouchers per person per night, which can be redeemed at the function suite bar.
Your Itinerary
Friday 11th: We leave home this morning and take a break in Liverpool before we continue to the hotel, arriving in time to settle in before the fun begins.
Saturday 12th: Enjoy a day in Blackpool, one of the UK’s most fun-filled seaside resorts. There’s something for everyone to discover. Should you choose to laze around the hotel and use the leisure facilities, this afternoon there will be a ‘60’s laid-back acoustic sing-along. This evening, we enjoy dinner followed by the main event, a 2-hour live set of classic Motown & Soul, followed by a DJ.
Sunday 13th: After a leisurely breakfast we leave the hotel and head to Southport for lunch. We arrive home later this afternoon.
