Monday 13th: We leave home this morning and make our way to Scotland. Arriving at the hotel with time to settle in before this evening’s meal.
Tuesday 14th: We take a journey through the glorious Trossachs and hop aboard a cruise on Loch Katrine where we learn of the tales and legends of the loch. We later continue through Rob Roy MacGregor country to Callender before we continue to historical Stirling with its famous castle.
Wednesday 15th: This morning, we visit two of Scotland’s top attractions. First the enormous Kelpies before we make our way to the nearby Falkirk Wheel. Here we board a boat and will be gently hoisted 35-metres on the world’s only rotating boat lift. We then make our way to Edinburgh to enjoy a wonderful cruise along the Forth River and beneath the three famous bridges, spanning nearly 140 years of Scottish engineering.
Thursday 16th: A beautiful day of scenery awaits today. We head to Loch Lomond first, then across toward the Arrochar Alps and Loch Long. Over the ‘Rest & be Thankful’ to Inveraray on Loch Fyne. After lunch, the scenery changes as we enter the Highlands, past Kilchurn Castle and Loch Awe before meeting the shoreline of Loch Earn. We will take a break in the characterful town of Crieff before returning to the hotel.
Friday 17th: Time to leave Scotland, beginning our journey after breakfast, we will take a break for lunch and arrive home later in the day.
