Join us for a delightful coach trip to the iconic Highclere Castle, famously known as the setting of Downton Abbey. Enjoy a scenic journey through the English countryside with a special stop at the historic town of Windsor. Explore its charming streets, perhaps look around the majestic Windsor Castle. Later this afternoon, we make our way to the Coppid Beech Hotel for a one-night stay.  Dinner Bed & Breakfast is included.  The next morning, we make our way to Highclere Castle. Walk down the grand old staircase like Lady Mary did on her wedding day, sit at Jackdaws Castle where Lady Edith so often found herself and take in the state dining room where many of the Dowager Countess' wonderfully acerbic lines were delivered by Dame Maggie Smith. After exploring the house, enjoy taking time in the spectacular gardens and parkland.

Coppid Beech Hotel, Bracknell The spacious 4-star bedrooms have satellite TV and air conditioning. All rooms have a seating area, and many feature a balcony. Peak Fitness features a gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

Monday 11th:  We leave home this morning and make our way to Windsor.  Situated on the river Thames, Windsor has a lovely centre to browse around and of course a magnificent castle that you may wish to visit.  Later we make our way to the hotel  Evening meal is included tonight.
Tuesday 12th:  We depart from the hotel after breakfast and make our way to Highcliere Castle for our 11:00 visit.  There is plenty of time today to wander through this magnificent home, visit the most iconic rooms that featured in the much loved TV series, Downton Abbey.  The Egyptian Exhibition is not included, however, subject to availability, you may pay on the day, should you want to explore.  The spectacular gardens and grounds, are a pleasure to spend time in.  When in neeed of refreshments or a light lunch, visit the castle tea rooms.  After ample time at the castle, we will make our way home.
