Your Itinerary

Thursday 28th:We depart home this morning for a leisurely drive towards Glamorgan. Later this afternoon, we arrive at the Mercure Hotel in Swansea.
Friday 29th: Today’s excursion takes us to the postcard-perfect seaside town of Tenby. Its medieval town walls and cobbled streets lead to a
charming harbour, flanked by pastel-coloured houses. Enjoy time to explore, shop, or simply soak in the atmosphere. You may like to visit the Lovespoon
Workshop for a fascinating demonstration of this traditional Welsh craft.
Saturday 30th: This morning, we embark on a guided tour of the Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Admire unspoiled beaches, dramatic coastal cliffs, and quaint villages. The tour ends with a delicious Gower Cream Tea at the Heritage Centre.
The afternoon is free to explore Swansea at your own pace. As the second largest city in Wales, Swansea boasts a vibrant blend of seaside charm and
modern culture, including an indoor market, museums, waterfront promenades, and plenty of cafés and shops.
Sunday 31st: Today begins with a visit to the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a stunning blend of historic and contemporary landscapes set in the
heart of the Carmarthenshire countryside. Watch golden eagles, red kites and peregrine falcons flying within inches of you, during the exciting Birds of Prey
Show. This afternoon, step back in time with a nostalgic round-trip journey on the lovingly restored Gwili Steam Railway. Departing from Abergwili, the
train winds its way along the picturesque Gwili Valley to Danycoed Halt, offering enchanting views of the surrounding landscape.
Monday 1st: After a hearty breakfast and warm farewells – Diolch and Ta Ta to our hosts – we begin our journey home. We’ll pause for a lunch
break along the way and expect to arrive back later this afternoon.
