Monday 30th: We depart from home this morning and begin the journey
to Aberfoyle, arriving late afternoon at the Rob Roy Hotel for an ‘All Inclusive’
package.
Tuesday 31st: Our day begins in Callander where we visit The Trossachs
Woollen Mill complex with its resident highland cows. Following our visit, we
depart for Stirling, a city steeped in historic attractions, such as Stirling Castle,
Stirling Old Town Jail and Holy Rude, a 15th century church. This afternoon,
we head to Glengoyne Distillery where we experience a Tour & Tasting.
Wednesday 1st: Our first stop today is the Kelpies, the largest equine
sculptures in the world, standing at 100ft tall. Afterwards, we travel to
Queensferry where we board a cruise. Take in the views of Edinburgh’s iconic
Three Bridges as we glide along the river Forth. After our cruise we journey to
Callendar House for a Cream Tea.
Thursday 2nd: We begin today at Balloch, an enchanting village at the foot
of Loch Lomond. Offering fantastic shopping and dining experiences, Balloch
also offers a variety of attractions, such as Sea Life Aquarium and Bird of Prey
Centre. Afterwards, we enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond with views of stately
homes, castles and Inchmurrin Island – the largest of Loch Lomond’s
33 islands.
Friday 3rd: We leave the hotel after breakfast and commence the homeward
journey. After taking a break for lunch, we continue to arrive later in the day.
