Friday 3rd: We leave home this morning and travel towards the
northeast, arriving late afternoon at the Redworth Hall Hotel.
Saturday 4th: Today we visit the famous Beamish North of England
Open Air Museum, capturing the spirit of the Northeast in the 1800 - 1900’s.
Attractions include an authentic town street, with traditional shops, a colliery village,
working farm, restored tram and vintage buses. There’s plenty here to discover and enjoy
throughout the day.
Sunday 5th: Happy Easter! This morning, we travel via the mighty
Angel of the North for a photo stop before continuing to Newcastle-upon-
Tyne. The historic Sunday morning market is situated along the Quayside,
browse the numerous stalls offering fresh and local produce, arts and crafts.
The remainder of the day is free to explore this friendly city, with its many
attractions and fine eateries.
Monday 6th:We depart the hotel after breakfast and board the coach
for the first leg of our journey. After making a stop for lunch, we continue,
arriving home later in the day.
