Your Itinerary
Monday 23rd: Leaving home this morning we relax on a leisurely drive to Devon, arriving late afternoon at the Headland Hotel. We enjoy two evenings of entertainment during our stay. Tuesday 24th: Our day begins with a Devon coastal tour. Following the shore road, we make our way to nearby Teignmouth where we have time to explore the stunning coastal town with many Georgian buildings, later we continue north to the elegant, Cathedral City of Exeter. Wednesday 25th: This morning, we head in the opposite direction, making our first stop in the quaint harbour town of Brixham. We then make our way to the traditional seaside resort of Paignton before returning to the Queen of the Riviera, Torquay. Thursday 26th: We spend today in Plymouth. Explore the historic Barbican, with its cobbled streets and bustling waterfront. Visit the iconic Mayflower Steps, where the Pilgrims set sail for the New World in 1620. There’s plenty here to occupy the day. Friday 27th: After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home, stopping along the way for lunch, arriving home later in the day.
