Tuesday 30th: Our new year celebrations begin as we leave home
this morning and head south to the English Channel town of Folkestone,
where we arrive later this afternoon. Enjoy a welcome glass of Bucks Fizz
in the bar before this evening’s meal.
Wednesday 31st: Our first stop this morning is Hythe where we enjoy
a nostalgic train ride from Hythe to Dungeness. Later we continue to
the picturesque town of Rye. This evening, enjoy a Bucks Fizz reception
before our evening meal and a night of live entertainment, to welcome in the New Year!
Thursday 1st: Happy New Year! After a leisurely breakfast, we take a drive
to the medieval walled city of Canterbury. Steeped in history and breathtaking
architecture, in the heart of the city stands Canterbury Cathedral, one of the
most important historic sites in England. With sections dating back to the
11th Century. Later we return to Folkestone.
Friday 2nd: After breakfast we commence our homeward journey. A stop
will be made for lunch before we continue, arriving later in the day.
