We begin with a scenic journey through the heart of the Lake District.
Stopping at Hawkshead, a delightful village of whitewashed cottages and
cobbled lanes. We visit Ambleside, home to the much-photographed Bridge House,
a tiny 17th-century structure perched above the river. After some free time to explore,
we make our way to Keswick, nestled beside Derwentwater and often considered the
capital of the North Lakes. Browse its independent shops, galleries, and
enjoy the town’s lively atmosphere. We head east into the glorious Yorkshire
Dales. Beginning in the charming market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, before
continuing through the limestone landscapes of Ingleton and on to Skipton,
known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’. Explore its bustling market,
impressive 900-year-old castle, and the woodland paths of Skipton Woods.
On our return, we pause in the pretty town of Settle, set beneath the
towering Castleberg Crag and full of character. We round off the tour with a
visit to Kendal, famous for its castle ruins, historic yards, cobbled streets,
and of course, Kendal Mint Cake. Later, we travel on to Bowness-on-Windermere,
a lively lakeside town where you’ll have time to browse the independent shops,
enjoy lakeside walks, or visit one of its charming museums 

Day 1: The holiday begins as we travel to Lake Windermere.
Day 2: Hawkshead & Keswick.
Day 3: A day exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
Day 4: Kendal & Bowness on Windermere.
Day 5: Travel home, taking a leisurely break for lunch on the way.
