Our holiday begins as we leave home on Sunday morning and take a leisurely drive to north Devon.
Our days out begin with the picture-perfect resort of Lynmouth, where narrow streets meet the sea.
Here, you might choose to ride the famous cliff railway up to its twin village, Lynton. Our route then
winds through the dramatic scenery of ‘Little Switzerland’ to Dunster, famed for its medieval castle
and octagonal Yarn Market, before continuing to the seaside charm of Minehead. On Tuesday,
Barnstaple comes alive for market day, giving you a chance to browse stalls, admire elegant Georgian
architecture, and soak up the atmosphere. In the afternoon, we visit the historic seaport of Bideford, set
beside the tranquil River Torridge. Midweek, we explore Ilfracombe, the ‘jewel of the North Devon Coast’.
Its harbour and quayside are a delight to wander, with whitewashed villas, sandy beaches, and plenty of
cafés and shops to enjoy. Thursday brings two real treats. At Quince Honey Farm, you can watch a live
beekeeping demonstration, tour the honey factory, and stroll through the Nectar Garden. In the afternoon,
we head to the award-winning RHS Rosemoor, where formal plantings meet vibrant borders in a stunning valley setting. 

Day 1: We leave home and take a leisurely drive to North Devon.
Day 2: Twin towns of Lynmouth & Lynton, historic Dunster & Minehead.
Day 3: Market morning in Barnstaple and the seaport of Bideford.
Day 4: A leisurely day in the quaint seaside resort of Ilfracombe.
Day 5: Quince Honey Farm and Rosemoor Gardens.
Day 6: We journey home, after stopping for lunch, we arrive later in the day.
