Monday 2nd: We depart on a scenic drive via Dolgellau and Porthmadog as we make our
way to Caernarfon and arrive at the Celtic Royal Hotel to be welcomed by a mulled wine
reception. Dinner tonight is followed by entertainment.
Tuesday 3rd: Today we begin our day with a short visit to Conway. The local country
market is held every Tuesday with home-made quality produce including cakes, savouries
and preserves, beautifully hand-crafted gift items, plant stall and refreshments. We
continue on to the popular resort of Llandudno with its broad promenade embracing the
sweeping curves of Llandudno Bay and splendid sands. There is a wealth of shops selling
all kinds of everything. This evening enjoy a sumptuous turkey dinner with all the
trimmings. After dinner join in an evening of entertainment.
Wednesday 4th: A free day to enjoy the delightful walled town of Caernarfon; discover the
famous castle (entry extra). After dinner tonight you are invited to the ballroom for
entertainment.
Thursday 5th: Today we visit the Isle of Anglesey, Wales' largest island and bigger than
any in England. With miles of inspiring coastline, hidden beaches, chocolate box villages
and Wales' greatest concentration of ancient sites. Anglesey's prettiest town Beaumaris
offers a winning combination of a waterfront location, mountain views and a romantic
castle lording it over an elegant collection of mainly Georgian buildings, boutiques and
galleries.
Friday 6th: We depart Caernarfon and make our way back via Betws-y-Coed.
